COMMENTS:    The Recreation Pier, one of the most popular points of interest in the city, was built for the purposes of giving residents and gourits a place where they can fish, hold meetings and entertainments, and enjoy the view of the bay and its cooling breezes.  At the head of the Pier is the casino with a mammoth convention and dance autidorium, gift and novelty shops.
