COMMENTS:       Idaho Springs is a famous mining town lying in the picturesque valley of Clear Creek at the foot of Virginia Canyon.  It marks the Junction of the Chicago Creek Highway to Mt. Evans and Virginia Canyon road to Central City with Transcontinental Highway U.S. 40.
