Scenes on Uganda Railway [Postcard]
POSTCARD TITLE: Scenes on Uganda Railway
POSTMARK: Aug 20, 1913
PUBLISHER: None Listed
TYPE/BACK: Vintage, Divided Back
COMMENTS:
This railway, leading from Mombassa to Nairobi, was built under the greatest difficulties. The work on this particular viaduct, built by an American firm, was held up for several months because so many of the workers were killed by lions that the rest became panic stricken, and refused to work.
The corners of the card are slightly rounded. Nice color. Check the image for more details.
