COMMENTS: The calvary journals show that Custer and his men camped here one year before the Custer Battle. A small party of Indians fired upon them while they were bathing. At this National Historic Landmark you can see Capt. Wm. Clark's signature...the only physical evidence of the Lew is & Clark Expedition. Located 28 Mi. E. Billings, Montana, Interstate 94.
