COMMENTS:    Skirting the glinting waters of the Halifax river from northern to southern extremity of the city, and with most of the waterfront devoted to flower-abounding parks, Beach Street is regarded as one of the most beautiful thoroughfares. The southern sector has long been a site for handsome residences.
