White House, Red Room [Stereoview]
White House Red Room Stereoview
TITLE: None
PUBLISHER: T. W. Smillie, photographer
COMMENTS: This is from the collection of the Honorable G. H. Brickner, Sheboygan Falls, Wis. He was a member of Congress from 1889-1895, and presumably this was purchased while he was in Washington during that time. It is not titled, but written on the back in his writing it says, "Red Room, President's House." It wasn't called the White House until 1901. From the series "Washington City and Vicinity."
